Salisbury Community Dog Park Rules
Persons who choose to use the Salisbury Community Dog Park agree as a condition of use to the following:
The Salisbury Community Dog Park is a strictly volunteer 501 (c) (3) charity. The
organization, construction and maintenance of the park is paid for with contributions from dog lovers. The town of Salisbury has given us permission to use town property as long as we maintain it properly, make it available free of charge and assure users obey the following rules.
There is no attendant on duty at any time. The park is open dawn to dusk.
Owners are legally responsible for their dogs and any injuries caused by them. The town of Salisbury is not responsible for any injury or damage caused by or to any dog in this park.
No dog is to be left unattended at any time.
Owners must remain inside with leash in hand, within view and voice control of their dog(s) at times.
Dogs must be leashed before entering and leaving the park.
All dogs must be healthy, vaccinated and collared with identification.
Dogs in heat and puppies under four months are prohibited from the dog park.
No smoking, food or toys are allowed within the fenced area of the park.
Children under the age of six years are prohibited from entering the fenced in areas of the park. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Owners must immediately clean up feces and dispose of waste in the receptacles provided in the park.
Owners must stop their dogs from digging holes.
Dogs showing aggression toward people or other dogs must be removed from the park immediately. Dogs with a history of aggressive behavior will not be permitted to enter the park.
Violators of these rules are subject to being removed from the dog park and subject to suspension of their rights to use the dog park.
